A big No to indo-pak series

Recently the Indian cricket board BCCI held talks with the Pakistan Cricket Board to resume cricketing ties between the two countries which were terminated over the rising tensions between the two countries. The indo-pak series was to be held in December tentatively in Sri Lanka. Indo-pak match is known for its power packed entertainment, it is not just a game for the two arch rivals but a matter of pride. Millions of people from both sides watch these matches with great enthusiasm.

Pakistan is known for its proxy war on India through terror outfits. Pakistan’s ISI and the Pakistan army fund and train terrorists to carry out terror attacks in India and one such worst terror attack happened in Mumbai (26/11 Mumbai attacks). Innocent people were killed, brave men died fighting the terrorists but still the mastermind behind these attacks Hafiz Saeed is happily living in Pakistan with high security provided to him by the country. In addition, Pakistan has been provoking India through cross border infiltration and our brave jawans are dying defending the borders.

Why is BCCI so desperate to have india-pak series?   Will this cricket diplomacy help Pakistan to mend its ways? The answer is ‘no’. India has always extended olive branch to Pakistan through countless talks and dialogue but nothing has changed and Pakistan continues with its same old mischief. India must out rightly reject this cricket diplomacy; we can’t afford to play a game over the graves of our dead soldiers. India has got nothing lose. Inspite of several dossiers on 26/11 Pakistan continues to live in denial mode and no action taken on Hafiz Saeed. If BCCI goes ahead with indo-pak series then it is nothing but an insult to the 26/11 martyrs.

Pakistan is in dire need of playing cricket with India. After the terror attacks on Sri Lankan team, no country has come forward to play on its soil. Pakistan cricket team is jobless and the cricket board has gone bankrupt with no revenues. Pakistan cricket board wants to revive itself through this indo-pak series. This is where India must hit hard on Pakistan by rejecting this cricket proposal, must send a strong message and that message is no cricket until the terror network is dismantled.

Cricket is surely a gentle man’s game but this gentleman attitude won’t work with Pakistan. After the recent terror attacks on Paris (which bears strong resemblance with 26/11 attacks), France has bombed the ISIS establishments in Syria. We don’t need to bomb our neighbor instead we must have a strong foreign policy towards it. Glad that the government of India has not given its nod for the series after a strong opposition from its people

Inkudu guntalu- a revolution towards water conservation

The recent drought has cast its evil spell on various parts of the country. The soaring temperatures and a deficit rainfall for over a year had serious implications on the water levels and agriculture. In states like Maharashtra the water scarcity was at an alarming level that water had to be transported through trains. Why are we facing such a situation? Are we really responsible for this? Absolutely yes! We encroached upon our lakes, destroyed our forests, polluted our rivers in the disguise of progress. Progress is good but it shouldn’t destroy the very basic necessity of life and this is nothing but greed.   The el nino had serious effect on the rainfall for a year, many states had received a deficit rainfall and we were not ready for this. What is the way forward now? the answer is water conservation. Water conservation is necessary because every drop of water Is precious, according to the statistics the World Bank estimates that by the year 2025 3.25 billion people i

The Wow! signal

The biggest question that human kind is seeking answers since ages is ‘are we alone in the universe?’. The quest for search for extraterrestrial intelligent life is endless, the curiosity is immense and research is countless. We have been sending probes, bursting out signals at different directions, yet there is not enough evidence about the presence of intelligent alien life, Out of this endless cosmic space, a signal was detected for 72 sec in 1977 and was never heard since, this was called the WOW! Signal,. The Wow! Signal was detected using a radio telescope. A radio telescope collects weak radio light waves, amplify them and make it available for analysis, We use them to study planets, black holes, starts and other astronomical objects. These can also be used to transmit radio light of the planetary bodies. The big ear radio telescope was installed in Ohio state university has a massive size probably the size of three football fields. This radio telescope started scanni

My views on e-Pragati

The IT revolution has bought several changes in India. It changed what was an agriculture based economy to a country with strong service sector. It opened avenues for employment in the form of foreign based and even domestic IT/ITES companies using the extensive skill force available in India. The government has also realised the importance of IT and decided to use it for what we call it e-governance. The prime minister of India SHRI Narendra Modi has introduced "Digital India" to revolutionize e-governance and digitalise Government departments. Taking an inspiration from Digital India the government of Andhra Pradesh has introduced e-pragati, it was launched by SHRI Nara Chandrababu Naidu on october 9th at Visakhapatnam. The IT revolution is not new to the Telugu land. Mr. Naidu, when he was the chief minister of erstwhile Andhra Pradesh (Telangana and Seemandhra combined) was always a proponent of IT to bring out a sustainable development. Due to his efforts Hyderabad
